If you’re struggling with a recipe and need it reviewed by a trained professional who has run one of the region’s most popular bakeries for the last 13 years, this is for you!

What to send

  • A clear photo or a scan of the recipe (ingredients + method).

  • A photo of the finished product (or stage where it went wrong), if available.

  • A description of the problem you’re experiencing (texture, rise, flavour, timing, appearance, etc.).

  • Details about your method and equipment: oven type and temperature accuracy, mixing method, scale vs. cups, ingredient brands, altitude, pan type and size, proofing time/conditions, and any substitutions you made.

What we’ll do

  • Review the recipe and your notes.

  • Diagnose likely causes of the problem.

  • Provide step-by-step corrections, troubleshooting tips, and a revised method or ingredient adjustments.

  • Suggest testing steps so you can confirm fixes.

Turnaround

  • Standard: reply within 24-48 hours Monday-Saturday
